Dawn's Newest Book, 365 Days of Grace is Now Available!!!
After taking thousands of crisis calls for 7 years from all over the United States and Canada with Christian Suicide Prevention, I realized that many Believers are not walking in the reality of the grace of God but in condemnation and guilt over past sins. The common themes that I have heard over the years in answering calls on our hotline are, "God is mad at me," "God must be punishing me," or "I have made too many mistakes." At the end of reading 365 Days of Grace, hopefully you will develop the habit of recognizing that as a Believer who has accepted Jesus Christ, your righteousness is not dependent on anything you do, whether it is right or wrong! This devotional will remind you that you remain righteous because of Jesus's finished work on the cross (2 Corinthians 5:21) and God's righteousness imparted to you is a free gift (Romans 5:17).
Christian Suicide Prevention is an affiliate of Dawn Epting Ministries. We started Christian Suicide Prevention because we felt there was a need for our services. God wants every person to be free! We have personally experienced past relationship pain and know of a couple men who have taken their life due to relationship rejection. Since that time, we have taken calls from all over the nation with people experiencing economic, physical, relationship, and emotional challenges and helped save countless lives!
In our years of experience, we have found that people who take their lives do so because they feel hopeless and like no one understands the challenge(s) they are experiencing. There is nothing new under the sun though according to Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NKJV). The truth is that everyone has experienced difficulties and someone has experienced and successfully overcome the trial that you are currently facing. Christian Suicide Prevention offers prayer, support groups, and sound biblical insight into living a life filled with hope, promise, healing, and the fullness of God.
We started Christian Suicide Prevention out of the personal pain and rejection we experienced in past relationships. Sometimes this pain is so overwhelming and crippling that you do not even want to get out of bed, have hope in future happiness/completeness, trust again, or even go on with life. We are equipped to help because of the Holy Spirit's guidance, professional suicide prevention/crisis training we have completed and because our staff has experienced these emotions too but have overcome the overwhelming pain. Today, we enjoy a full and joyful life! Emotions and circumstances are subject to change but we must read and believe God's Word because the truth of it always stands! As Christian believers, we now know that we have an adversary.
God wants you to live and enjoy life but the adversary, Satan, wants to destroy and take your life. Call us so we can help you and explain more.
The thief (or adversary) comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). John 10:10AMP
