About UsChristian Suicide Prevention (CSP) is an affiliate of Dawn Epting Ministries and currently provides speaking services and seminars. We have taken calls from all over the country and Canada. We started Christian Suicide Prevention because we felt there was a need for our services to help people understand their identity and rise above rejection. God wants every person to be free! We have personally experienced past relationship pain and know of a couple men who have taken their life due to relationship rejection. Since that time, we have taken calls from all over the nation with people experiencing economic, physical, relationship, and emotional challenges and helped save countless lives!
In our years of experience, we have found that people who take their lives do so because they feel condemned from past mistakes and hopeless and like no one understands the challenge(s) they are experiencing. There is nothing new under the sun though according to Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NKJV). The truth is that everyone has made "mistakes" and experienced difficulties and someone has experienced and successfully overcome the trial that you are currently facing. God did not condemn many of the well known figures in the Bible that made mistakes such as Moses, David, and Paul but went on to use them mightily! Dawn Epting Ministries offers prayer, seminars, speaking engagements, and sound biblical insight into living a life filled with hope, promise, healing, and the fullness of God. We started this organization out of the personal pain and rejection we experienced in past relationships. Sometimes this pain is so overwhelming and crippling that you do not even want to get out of bed, have hope in future happiness/completeness, trust again, or even go on with life. We are equipped to help because of the Holy Spirit's guidance, professional crisis training we have completed and because our staff has experienced these emotions too but have overcome the overwhelming pain. Today, we enjoy a full and joyful life! Emotions and circumstances are always subject to change (2 Corinthians 4:18) but we must read and believe God's Word because the truth of it always stands! God wants you to live and enjoy life! Email us so we can help you and explain more. So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NLT) I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). After taking thousands of crisis calls for 7 years from all over the United States and Canada with Christian Suicide Prevention, I realized that many Believers are not walking in the reality of the grace of God but in condemnation and guilt over past sins. The common themes that I have heard over the years in answering calls on our hotline are, "God is mad at me," "God must be punishing me," or "I have made too many mistakes." At the end of reading 365 Days of Grace, hopefully you will develop the habit of recognizing that as a Believer who has accepted Jesus Christ, your righteousness is not dependent on anything you do, whether it is right or wrong! This devotional will remind you that you remain righteous because of Jesus's finished work on the cross (2 Corinthians 5:21) and God's righteousness imparted to you is a free gift (Romans 5:17).
